Cambridge International Examinations will conduct an introductory face-to-face professional development course for Primary level which will include two main topics: Active Learning and Assessment for Learning.
Day 1: Active Learning
Teaching the Cambridge curriculum effectively means helping students to develop higher order thinking skills. Where students are actively engaged in their own learning process, they are better able to develop these skills. This workshop will help teachers to develop their understanding of active learning and how to apply it in the Primary school classroom, with plenty of suggestions to take away. Your course leader will be a teacher and trainer who is experienced in using active methods to support student learning.
