This is enhanced by the fact that knowledge can be accessed freely and widely and global communication has transformed intercultural awareness. Which are the main issues we must address to do things right at school? What should our school curriculum cover? How should we select, train and motivate teachers for this quest? How should teachers teach and assess in this new context? How can we secure learning for all? He has worked as teacher, teacher trainer, researcher, change coach, and policy advisor in Finland. Pasi served as Senior Education Specialist in the World Bank in Washington, DC (2003-07) and as Lead Education Specialist in the European Training Foundation, in Torino, Italy (2007-09).[learn_more] <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">He is an active international speaker and writer, and has worked with the OECD, The World Bank, The European Commission and as advisor to several governments in more than 40 countries. In his current job as director general of CIMO (National Centre for International Mobility and Cooperation) at the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture he promotes internationalization in the Finnish education system and awareness of Finland\u2019s experience in educational change. Pasi\u2019s research interests include educational change, education policy and school improvement and he is Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki and at the University of Oulu. He is member of the Board of Directors of the ASCD, The International Association for the Study of Cooperation in Education (IASCE) and The Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Helsinki. Since January 2011, she has worked for Hodder running workshops for teachers in many parts of the world including the Caribbean, the Middle East, India, Nigeria and Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Cecilia Calero<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/essarp.org.ar\/archivos\/8\/4\/1345665934.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"204\" height=\"224\" align=\"left\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"5\" \/>In 2000, Cecilia Calero began her studies at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales \u2013 Universidad de Buenos Aires, (FCEN \u2013 UBA). During her years as an undergraduate student, she worked in the Inorganic Chemistry Department (02\/2001-01\/2003) and the Physiology and Molecular Biology Department (03\/2003-12\/2003). Where she was part of several research projects in areas related to neuroscience and immunology.[learn_more]<\/p>\n<p>In March 2006, she received her degree in Biological Sciences from the FCEN and began her doctoral thesis, with a scholarship granted by CONICET, under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Calvo at the Instituto de Investigaciones en Ingenier\u00eda Gen\u00e9tica y Biolog\u00eda Molecular (INGEBI-CONICET), where she had been working since June 2004. During this time she focused on the study of the modulation of synaptic receptors. Her research investigation led to the publication and presentation of her results in high impact journals and conferences, both nationals and internationals. And finally, in March 2011, she obtained her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout her academic life, Dr Calero felt drawn to neuroscience and in particular, to Cognitive Science, reason why she decided to conduct her postdoctoral work in the Laboratorio de Neurociencia Integrativa under the supervision of Dr. Mariano Sigman. It is here where she received a scholarship from CONICET to carry out a project entitled &#8220;Little Teachers&#8221;. This research seeks to understand, how the teaching abilities develops during the first years of life in young children without the need for formal education.The \u201cLittle Teachers\u201d project aims to shed new light and provide a vast corpus of information about the teaching brain and the psychological organization, development, and phenomenology of the ability to teach.[\/<span style=\"font-size: small;\">learn_more] <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Andrea Goldin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"imglnk alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/essarp.org.ar\/archivos\/8\/5\/thumb\/1345666073.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"152\" height=\"170\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"5\" vspace=\"5\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Andrea Goldin is a Biological Sciences Graduate, University of Buenos Aires, 2006. At the moment she is finishing her doctoral thesis in neurosciences at the same university. She is a scholar of the CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technical Investigation). She is authoress to several scientific pieces of work, published in prestigious international magazines. She is coordinator and organiser of the Campamento Expedici\u00f3n Ciencia (Science Expedition Camp), organized by the civil association Expedici\u00f3n Ciencia, \u201cscientific camp for students with motivation and high skills for science\u201d. She conducted many talks for the popularisation of science and several science workshops children and adolescents.[learn_more]<\/p>\n<p>She participated in the dictation of several teacher training science workshops [Expedici\u00f3n Docencia (Teaching Expedition) among others, organised by the civil association Expedici\u00f3n Ciencia (Science Expedition) and by the Instituto Nacional de Formaci\u00f3n Docente (INFD) (Teacher Training National Institute), financed by the Organizaci\u00f3n de Estados Iberoamericanos (Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI)].<\/p>\n<p>She wrote chapters for Biology and Physics books for Publishing Houses Puerto de palos, Estrada and SM. She developed several educational resources for the site Educared and for the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales (Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences) , FCEyN, UBA. She was Head of Primary at Colegio San Antonio, a bilingual school in San Antonio de Areco, Buenos Aires until 2011. She travels to the UK on a yearly basis to work in schools, work with the most renown Phonics and Literacy experts and get training to improve her knowledge and teaching practice. She works as s Synthetic Phonics Trainer, an Educational and Literacy Consultant and Teacher Trainer offering advice and providing training in synthetic phonics in English in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brasil Mexico and Peru.
